What is Upcyling?

Upcycling is the Re-Use of discarded objects or materials in such a way as to create a product of higher quality or value than the original.

Upcycling is the act of taking something no longer in use and giving it a second life and new function. In doing so, the finished product often becomes more practical, valuable and beautiful than what it previously was.

 

What is Dead Stock?

Dead stock refers to the left over raw materials from other fashion houses & brands who overestimated their needs. Traditionally, brands would hold on to their excess raw materials, such as components and fabrics, for a few seasons and then send them to the landfills.

 

We rescue these dead stock components before they are thrown away and we turn them into beautiful pieces of jewelry!

 

CIRCULAR DESIGN - RETURN PROGRAM:

Once you feel that your connection with your LA LUNE Jewelry piece has come to its end, you are welcome to ship back the piece for a 15% discount on your next order. This will mean that your piece will be pulled apart, cleaned, and then repurposed into a new design for an intentional circular ‘end-of-life’ manufacturing method.
